Grant Jordan is CEO at SkySafe. After graduating from MIT, Grant served as an officer in the US Air Force for four years. At the Air Force Research Lab, he designed and built hardware systems for counter-IED missions and small UAVs, specializing in rapid product development for Special Forces units. In graduate school at UC San Diego, Grant conducted research in online criminal campaigns and analysis of the Bitcoin network. As President of Somerset Recon, he led a team of security researchers and engineers analyzing the security of hardware systems for government and commercial customers. Grant has spoken at numerous conferences including DEFCON and the Commercial UAV Expo.
Mike Spindel
Co-Founder, Engineering Fellow
Mike Spindel is Co-Founder, Engineering Fellow at SkySafe. During his time at MIT, he conducted research on ad-hoc wireless networks at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. After graduating, he spent several years writing backend software for large web services. At Somerset Recon, he specialized in firmware development and hardware/software reverse engineering. Mike has presented at several well-known security conferences, including Black Hat USA in Las Vegas. At SkySafe, Mike oversees the cutting edge technology of our drone defense systems.
Tarak is the Chief Financial Officer at SkySafe. His prior experience includes Economic Research at Flexport, Finance & Operations at Tesla and Management Consulting in Aerospace & Defense at Deloitte. Prior to his private sector work, he was an Army Officer in both conventional and special operations units. His undergraduate and graduate education comes from the University of Texas and London School of Economics.
Steve McQuade has over 25 years of experience building and scaling enterprise software solutions across a variety of industries including digital identity and computer vision, advertising, media, and security. He recently served as CTO at Vouched.id where he led the development of a computer-vision based Identity Verification solution. Previously he headed technology at TUNE as the Vice President of Engineering and Operations, leading the company through periods of rapid growth. Prior to TUNE, he served as Vice President of Engineering at Yapta and AudienceScience and held Sr. Technology Management roles at the Walt Disney Internet Group.
As the Chief Revenue Officer, Melissa holds the responsibility for developing and overseeing strategic partnerships aimed at driving increased revenue and fostering customer growth. With a wealth of experience as a C-Level Executive, Melissa has a proven track record that includes significant contributions to two successful IPOs (SuccessFactors & Castlight Health) and involvement in two strategic acquisitions. Melissa is a dedicated market leader with a passion for achieving results, building exceptional teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Throughout her career, she has overseen various aspects such as go-to-market efforts, global sales, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and marketing. Prior to her role at SkySafe, Melissa served as the Co-Founder/Chief Revenue Officer for Socrates.ai, a company that was recently acquired by Simpplr.
Tom is responsible for overseeing and expanding the global revenue operations for SkySafe. In this capacity, Tom collaborates strategically with various organizations such as finance, marketing, operations, and others, aligning all revenue-generating activities. With over 20 years of experience, Tom has a strong track record of leading and expanding high-growth companies. His previous roles include positions at Successfactors an SAP company, Box, and Birst. Tom lives in Massachusetts with his wife and 3 children. In his spare time you can find Tom coaching his children's sports teams.
